The Bose SoundSport earphones are reliable workout earphones, they are easy to operate during various exercises, despite their lack of an official IP rating.
Bose’s SoundSport is the company’s first Bluetooth sports headphone, and although it is not perfect, it may be the best Bluetooth sports headphone currently.
It has a very comfortable design to wear, it has an open design, so it will not cram the earbud in your ear and completely block your ear canal, thanks to the Bose’s StayHear + ear pads, which come in three sizes, the bud will settle and stay in place, and in general the design is suitable for runners and athletes.
It has a wire or cable that you can short or tie up for those who wish to wear the wire close to the neck.
Bose SoundSport also has very good sound quality with strong bass.
- Wonderful fit
- Connection stability
- Sound quality
- Easy to operate controls
- Sweat resistant
- SBC and AAC only, no aptX
- It lacks an official IP rating
Bose Soundsport Design: comfortable to wear
The Bose Soundsport in-ear headphones are a more traditional pair of in-ear wireless headphones. They come with a neckband cable that includes a housing far down rather than earpieces, as they have a design that fits with athletes and runners.
The Bose Soundsport has a smart design and is comfortable to wear, and its rubber hooks made of soft silicone come along the ear core lines, making the fit safe and comfortable enough to run or go to the gym.
The hooks in the speakers are important because although the remote control is small, the Bose SoundSport wireless headphones are quite large, due to the presence of batteries and a DAC, which is required in any wireless pair.
And speaking of battery, the battery life is average as there isn’t a large battery pack as part of a stiff neckband, but in general it should be more than enough for a workout or commute.
There is no socket for cables to use when the battery is depleted, so it is not suitable for flights at all.
It also has the NFC feature which is another additional feature, you can just touch the Android phone to the earphone to connect the two.
All in all, the Bose SoundSport headphones have a strong connection.

Bose Soundsport Features: Connection , Very Good Battery Life
The Bose Soundsport earbuds have Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, NFC for click pairing, the range comes in very average around 10 meters and works well enough.
We found a small amount of tripping on tests, as there was very little skipping when running, and no skipping at all when strapped to my right.
Bose Soundsport only supports two Bluetooth codecs: SBC and AAC, as in Bose QuietComfort 35 I, and this means that iOS devices can broadcast high-quality audio to headphones, but unfortunately some Android phones may find it difficult to do this. Android cannot properly encode the AAC Bluetooth codec.
But at least some Android users enjoy more consistent audio quality over SBC, which is the most popular denominator for Bluetooth codecs.
As for the battery life of the Bose SoundSport headphones, they are very good, as they last about 7 hours on a single charge, but if you play non-stop this period will be shortened, but in normal and normal use, continue this Bose SoundSport throughout the work week.
As for charging the headphones, it takes about two hours, and it does not support fast charging.

Bose Soundsport Performance: Great Sound
In terms of performance, the Bose sound is ideal for this type of earphone, as the Bose Soundsport has powerful, punchy bass that may make you operate a little faster.
But it’s not a strong and dirty sound, but to hear in a quiet room it might sound like a somewhat aggressive touch.
Overall, the Bose Soundsport is dynamic and makes the music come alive, and is enjoyable in all respects, while you can get greater tonal fidelity in bass from a non-wireless pair for the price.
The Bose Soundsport, although it does not have the stellar insight for some earbuds at this price, has managed to craft an acoustic signature without glaring flaws, so you won’t find any roughness, good details, no clear focus on one part of the frequency spectrum, and the dynamics are solid, giving a vibrant sound.

The Bose SoundSport is one of the preferred workout earphones for many athletes and runners, it has a very impressive quality in terms of design and is comfortable while doing various sports exercises, in addition to the great sound quality, it is much better than most earphones during exercise.
If you do not want to use true wireless earphones but want a versatile wireless solution, then the Bose SoundSport In Ear Headphones is perfect for you.
Of course, it comes with some negative points, for example that contact with it is good but not ideal most of the time, and there is no water resistance feature although it is intended for athletes.
