The Corsair Katar Pro XT Mouse comes in a budget friendly way with very good gaming performance, thanks to matching ergonomic design and great functionality.
The Corsair Katar Pro XT Mouse is one of the best gaming mice we’ve seen lately thanks to the combination of functionality, comfort and an extremely low price.
The Corsair Katar Pro XT comes at $ 29, £ 34, AU $ 69 only, and you can get it on the Corsair website, and soon it will be rolled out to other retailers around the world.
Although not as feature-rich as some of the other high-end gaming mice, the Katar Pro XT is able to pack a lot of featherweight.
It features a maximum of 18,000 dpi, providing impressive performance and is accurate enough for all bloodthirsty rated FPS matches, as its standard ballot rate of 1,000 Hz would hold it back from its more expensive counterparts.
The Corsair Katar Pro XT comes with an extremely lightweight design, at 73 grams, with its own USB cable,
but it is extremely light and easy to move, which leaves the indicators of the teleportation flying across the screen instead of a smoother and more fluid movement.
Overall, the Corsair Katar Pro XT Mouse has great performance for its price, but we can’t really expect the budget mouse to perform better than some of its more expensive competitors.

Katar Pro XT: Lightweight Design
As we said, the Corsair Katar Pro XT Mouse comes with a very lightweight design, with a size of just over 2.5 ounces (73 grams) and 4.56 x 2.53 x 1.49 inches (115.8 x 64.2 x 37.8 mm), this is a much smaller gaming mouse than we see. Usually, there is also a USB cable.
It also features six programmable buttons, so you can easily program some macros for MOBA and MMO games.
There is also a button to toggle DPI settings on the go, which is extremely useful, as it saves you the hassle of having to enter Corsair’s iCue software to do this simple adjustment.
The light weight and Paracord help keep the Corsair Katar Pro XT moving quickly and not get stuck in its own wire, but unfortunately it doesn’t have a wireless option.
It also has a rubber scroll wheel and RGB clickable lighting with an upward feel, in addition to the glossy side buttons that are easy to press and separate well.
It features a matte plastic case that keeps the mouse light and repels smudges and fingerprints. .
The mouse moves comfortably and smoothly thanks to the large, smooth PTFE feet on its underside.
About the only thing I would say I miss is some rubber grips on the sides. But
also has a hex button above the scroll wheel, which allows you to adjust the DPI on the go, and the light in the scroll wheel turns red at the low DPI setting. It converts to white to medium setting, and green to dpi high.

Katar Pro XT Great performance considering the price value with the iCue software from Corsair
The Corsair Katar Pro XT Mouse delivers really great performance,
we used it during tests with Ancestors Legacy and Iron Harvest,
the performance was really good, and the Sniper setup is sometimes easy to use to focus on accurate shots in Star Wars: Squadrons.
After several hours of play, I felt the textured plastic was comfortable without getting sweaty during the toughest moments of battle, and all buttons were exactly where my fingers had expected them to be.
The cable was also fine, didn’t hang in anything, and was long enough to reach from the back of your gaming rig.
Although performs extremely well, without additional fancy buttons or complex pre-programmed macros,
it will not give you any superpowers in the current games you choose
and still allow it to give you more immersion in games – which is what I usually want in a mouse. .
The Corsair Katar Pro XT has Corsair’s iCue software, with which you can adjust sensor performance fairly easily with preset sensitivity profiles set with the top mouse button in Katar Pro.
Through the program, you can also adjust RGB on the scroll wheel for any color
or any brightness level you want, in addition to being able to synchronize with lights on any accessories or other components.
The program provides you with simple adjustments and nothing more, so don’t wait for angle capture or takeoff distance,
the Katar Pro XT Mouse works well so you can enjoy your games.

Mouse is one of the best mice out in the low-budget market, with a price tag of $ 29 / £ 34 / AU $ 69.
It will provide you with superb performance and extreme accuracy, as it features a maximum of 18000 dpi and the ability to adjust DPI accuracy while flying directly from the mouse.
It also comes with an extremely lightweight design, it’ll feel like it’s sliding a little boulder across your desk, as it only has 73 grams, it’s lighter than anything we’ve played recently.
However, if you want a wireless mouse, the Corsair Katar Pro XT is not for you as it comes in a wired design only.
