Fast Talk

Logitech has finally create a very comfortable keyboard, and this company is well-known for its office and production peripherals, as well as gaming equipment, for example its ergonomic mouse mice, design to reduce the repetitive stress injuries that can come with constant work on the computer.

The Logitech ERGO K860 keyboard is very distinctive, as it has a stylish and comfortable design to the utmost extent, thanks to the soft foam pad that helps reduce the effort expended by long gaming sessions.

It also has great features, as the keyboard is fairly standard, and the performance is very impressive.

Logitech Ergo K860 costs about $ 129 and is available for pre-order on Amazon now, and this keyboard supports Windows 7, 8, 10, macOS 10.13 or later, and iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth.

The function and media key row at the top of the Ergo K860 has some really nice tricks, for example you can pair the keyboard with up to 3 different devices, and switch between them using the dedicated device buttons labeled 1, 2 and 3.

The Logitech ERGO K860 supports both the included Logitech wireless USB adapter, and Bluetooth for connection to secondary and tertiary devices.

To the left of the three buttons is the Print Screen button, which works differently on a Mac than on a PC.

  • A very comfortable wrist rest
  • Ergonomic curved design

  • It is not easy to get used to it

ERGO K860 Surprisingly ergonomic design

The Logitech ERGO K860 is a one-piece split keyboard, or “soft split”.

To make sure you don’t need to join your shoulder blades to push your arms or wrists together, instead there is a triangular gap between key combinations for use with your right and left hand.

The center of the keyboard also bends upwards so you don’t need to twist your wrists to force your fingers to lie down on the keys.

During our tests, we found the Logitech ERGO K860 to be incredibly comfortable, as you can write while doing fewer rotations and stretches and other abnormal movements that can hurt you.

The Logitech ERGO K860 also has a fairly steep slope, but the curve across the core of the board is, but it isn’t, relatively shallow.

And when you place your fingers on it that you’re approaching at an angle, it doesn’t feel radically different from a standard keyboard.

You can rely on this keyboard and feel comfortable right away, which is not always available with ergonomic keyboards.

ERGO K860 Performance: Smooth and comfortable

As for the performance of the Logitech ERGO K860 keyboard, it is fairly good. Upon tests, some problems getting use to the split keyboard layout, but in general, the touchscreen tendencies mostly helped me navigate the keyboard.

Also, the keys in the center of the keyboard are on either side (T, G, and B) on the left half, and the (Y, H and N) keys on the right. When testing, I entered typos that I would not have made on a regular keyboard.

And at the 10fastfingers’ typing test scores, the score was from a typical 80 words per minute to 57 words per minute (with 86% accuracy).

But overall, Logitech said it took less than two days for people who test the keyboard to get use to it.

Logitech ERGO K860 has Logitech’s Perfect Stroke Key System, this system contains mechanisms that provide pleasant feedback to every click.

I really like the concave keycaps as they have a nice touch, and the function, modifier keys and the space bar are convex, which proved to be comfortable for typing.

The Logitech ERGO K860 keyboard is extremely comfortable to use, in addition to the enhanced profile and support it provides.

The Logitech ERGO K860 is also ideal for Logitech’s Flow-enable peripherals. Overall, it is a great standalone wireless keyboard, and has a battery life of up to 2 years.

One of its great features is the two-layer soft foam pad, which is shape like a curve of the keyboard, which is comfortable and adds to its professional look and feel.

But the Logitech ERGO K860 does not have a backlight, so it could have been a bonus, especially for people with sensitive eyes and writers who might need to write a lot in order to work.
