Logitech G333 Design: Very Simple

The Logitech G333 In Ear Headphones are a lot like the Astro A03, which is not surprising, considering that Astro is also a brand from Logitech.

The entire device is about four feet long and consists of three wires: one for each earbud, and one for the 3.5mm audio cable.

Plus, there’s also a built-in USB-C adapter, which makes the G333 easy to pair with both smartphones or newer computers.

Logitech G333 Gaming Earphones design

Each earbud is small, cylindrical, and wrapped with a rubber tip, and you can choose from three different head sizes to find what fits your ears, and it only takes a few seconds to turn them on and off.

Logitech G333 comes in three different color schemes: the black body with blue tips, the silver body with purple tips, and the purple body with green.

controls come in the right ear wire, as there are three buttons: volume up and volume down, and a blue button that can control playback on mobile devices.

What we didn’t like about the Logitech G333 earphones is that the wire is very short, so if you intend to use it with a computer, you may want to invest in an extension cord.

All in all, the Logitech G333 has a simple design but it doesn’t fit your ear well.

On tests, I tried all three sets of tips to see if I could find a comfortable fit, but the middle ends stayed in place.

But if you find the earbuds generally comfortable, the G333 is no worse than most.

Features: Connection

Unfortunately the Logitech G333 does not work with Logitech G Hub as most modern Logitech G accessories do.

And if you connect the earphones to your computer via a USB-C cable, all you can do is adjust the Windows volume using the G333 buttons.

The G3333 headphones are so simple that playing with equalizer options on gaming audio accessories can be a real boon, but music, games, and movies often need different audio tracks.

And the media button as well as the microphone work well enough for regular conversations, so when the tests had a long phone conversation with a family member, G3333 dropped just one word, but in general you will have no problem communicating with your colleagues in daily multiplayer play, or friends and family in online chats.

Fairly good performance with clarity of some details

As for the audio performance, the Logitech G333 in-ear headphones are an essential gaming audio solution, as they perform fairly well.

The Logitech G333 has clear and crisp sound but it is not rich or wide. In general, the Logitech G333 earphones create a reasonable amount of detail without appearing distorted or squeezed.

We tested the audio performance in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, with the result that you can clearly hear the noise of the Katanas, and the bass in that lint of smoke from your friend’s smoke bomb, in addition to other complex sounds.

We also experimented with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and the result was that you would not get a full and immersive audio experience from the G333, for example the moderators feel stable and the bass does not have the weight that you get from the larger speakers in the over-ear headphone. But overall it does produce strong direction and some detail across the board, except that it simply doesn’t improve the sound either.

And with Ghost of Tsushima on the PS5, the Logitech G333 did surprisingly well with positional sound, where you can hear detailed positional transitions, like a sliding door that lifts up when it opens.

And when playing Call of Duty on PC with Dolby Atmos, I was able to track the lead’s footsteps and paths by ear, but there were some directional sounds that were of slight echo quality, blocking their location.

The Logitech G333 has an internal microphone

like most open mics, which is an ambient noise magnet. It will capture your voice well with other noises like PC fans.

But you can avoid picking up the noise that isn’t playing in the general direction of the microphone, which is more than what I would expect from a microphone like this.

Conclusion

The Logitech G333 In Ear Headphones are gaming headsets, they are as good a condition as any case I have reviewed before.

It is also very similar to the Astro A03, but the two devices are virtually interchangeable.

All in all, the Logitech G333 is if you want a good pair of gaming earphones and have affinity with Logitech equipment.
