NASA-Drew Morgan, who is also a doctor, presented the appreciation on National Doctors’ Day.

Healthcare workers fighting the Coronavirus pandemic received an extraterrestrial greeting on the National Day of Physicians.

NASA astronaut Drew Morgan, a physician

and one of the five people currently living on the International Space Station (ISS) on March 30, tweeted his appreciation to doctors,

nurses, medical technicians, and other people on the front lines of the war against HIV Corona emerging and COVID-19 disease that causes it.

 Morgan said on Twitter:

“As a doctor contemplates our planet on the National Day of Doctors

I think about experts and health-care volunteers who risk their lives during this crisis. We are the best version of ourselves when we help each other.

Thank you for the space station. “This was the text accompanying a photo of him

as well as a floating medical stethoscope inside the dome of the station,

and the ground appears in the background.

Healthcare workers are already risking their lives to treat Covid-19 patients.

For example,

according to The New York Times,

medical experts account for nearly 14% of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Spain.

Covid-19 is also invading the healthcare workforce in New York City,

Michael Schwirtz of the New York Times wrote that day:

“A doctor from one of the most important hospitals in New York City described it as a Petri dish, where more than 200 workers became ill.

” According to data collected by John Hopkins University, it is until today

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus around the world has reached 1.7 million and more than 100,000 deaths from the disease.

  •   Morgan’s other companions on the International Space Station are fellow NASA space pioneer Jessica Meir

and commander of the current expedition 62 Russian astronaut Oleg Skripochka, and on April 9, the trio joined three other colleagues:

NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy Chris as master

The Russian astronauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner.

 According to doctorsday.org,

the National Day of Physicians is celebrated in the United States of America on March 30 of each year

(although some countries adopt a different date). It was first celebrated in Georgia in 1933.

The website says: “On March 30, 1958,

by the United States House of Representatives.

and Senate to create a National Day for Doctors. After widespread acceptance by the US Senate and House of Representatives

 On October 30, 1990,

President George W. Bush signed the S.J.RES Resolution. # 366 (which became common law 101-473) declaring March 30th as National Day of Physicians.

Healthcare workers are indeed risking their lives to treat COVID-19 patients. For example,

medical professionals make up almost 14% of Spain’s confirmed coronavirus cases,

COVID-19 is raging through the healthcare workforce in New York City,

which has been hit particularly hard

by the outbreak

A “doctor at a major New York City hospital described it as ‘a petri dish,’ were more than 200 workers had fallen sick,” the Times’ Michael Schwirtz

As of today, there are more than 740,000 confirmed coronavirus

cases worldwide and more than 35,000 COVID-19 deaths

Morgan’s two companions aboard the ISS are fellow NASA astronaut Jessica Meir and cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka,

commander of the current Expedition 62.

NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy and cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin

Ivan Vagner is scheduled to launch toward the orbiting lab aboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft on April 9.
