New processors for all new Poco phones
New processors for all new Poco phones

Poco phones, owned by Xiaomi, are back in the market once again, with two new phones that have many great features and some prominent processor options at low-cost prices.

Both the Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3 have Qualcomm’s new chipset that have been fundamentally refresh and repurpose as flagship processors from the past two years, making them an exciting show of price performance.

The first phone is the Poco X3 Pro, which is very similar to the Poco X3 NFC phone that was release last year but with a new processor.

It also features a 6.67-inch 120Hz 1080-pixel LCD screen, a 5160 mAh battery, a 33-watt fast charging feature, and a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.

What is new here is the processor, where the Poco X3 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC processor, and this processor is a new version of the Snapdragon 855, which is find in phones like the Galaxy S10 and Pixel 4.

This processor uses the same Kryo 485 core base on ARM’s Cortex-A76 CPU, and has been slightly boost to 2.96GHz.

The Snapdragon 860 SoC features as the “Leading 4G Processor in 2021”, which does not seem to me to be an area with much competition, but it is expect that the mid-range 5G chipset will outperform the 765.

And there is news that the Poco X3 Pro will cost 199 euros for a model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (or 249 euros for 8 GB / 256 GB).

The second phone is the Poco F3, which is an advanced phone, as it is one of the first phones to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870, which was announced two months ago.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 processor

comes as an idea similar to the 860 but is based on the latest version of the 865 for one year, as the CPU clock speed once again received a slight bump with a maximum of 3.2GHz.

And it could have been the fastest Android phone chip in the world a couple of months ago.

The Poco F3 is a modified version of Xiaomi’s Redmi K40, as it has a 6.67-inch 120 Hz and 1080p OLED screen, with a 4520 mAh battery, a 33-watt fast charging feature, and a triple-camera setup including a 48-inch main sensor. Megapixels.

The X3 Pro will cost 199 euros for a model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. These are early prices.
