ROG Gladius II Wireless – This mouse has taken my heart from its first use with the wonderful RGB lighting that the mouse has embraced
the wireless version,
which is the focus of our conversation today, does not have the same light
The fluffy ribbon wrapped around the mouse is not here, so I felt a little disappointed
the box packaging comes well. There is nothing impressive here.
The packaging is simple and once you open the box you can access the mouse but not only the mouse,
there are a good number of accessories included inside the game such as a high-quality padded carrying bag
A set of Omron D2F-01F switches and we’ll talk about that later,
Quick start guide and regular ROG sticker with all of its products, of course,
charging cable and USB dongle.
The mouse seems to be a little bit,
but it is not the largest mouse I have tried, so controlling it will be easy
and you will not need time to get used to it as it is designed for right-hand users of course
Also, we will not find in this mouse many buttons that are sometimes useless, as you will only find here the buttons that you need
The mouse on the right side does not contain anything distinctive as usual, while the left side contains the Backward & Forward buttons.
From the top we find the DPI level control button which is one button, and also the scroll wheel button which is characterized by light resistance and therefore it will be easy to press it when you want it.
From the front, we will find a small USB port, through which the mouse can be charged, and by the way, it is not the best to talk about the charging cord
The wire is preferred and contains a lot of resistance. Therefore, while playing it is preferable that the battery be charged and play without it, or you can use Mouse Bungee with this wire to reduce its resistance.
The mouse has a design that makes holding it as easy as I mentioned in every way,
whether it is Claw, Finger Tip, or even Palm, so whatever way you hold the mouse, it will be perfectly appropriate and appropriate to it.
The surface coating materials used were of high quality, where they come in black color, we can say about it that it is semi-glossy, and the surface texture was smooth, even if it is not the softest surface present in the market today, and on the contrary, the side buttons and DPI come in a glossy black color.
The scroll wheel also has a secure rubber surface to prevent any slippage that may occur,
All in all the manufacturing materials here are very classy
and you will really feel that you hold something of value.
This mouse weighs about 130 grams without the wire and is not light at all
But it didn’t cause me any problems while using it
and the heavyweight is justified because the mouse contains a giant battery
The mouse lacks the customizable weights feature, but this is a good thing. With this weight, there is no need to increase the weight of the mouse more.
Sensor and additional mouse features ROG GLADIUS II WIRELESS
Gladius II Wireless includes an advanced PixArt PMW3389 optical sensor with 16000 DPI resolution, ensuring fast response
Precise control ensures your gaming experience is outstanding during extended gaming sessions, and you can adjust mouse speeds from 100 to 1600
The mouse provides two types of wireless connectivity to meet different needs, as you can connect the mouse instantly with the attached USB dongle at 2.4GHz.
Or pair wirelessly via Bluetooth and the two modes can be switched via the same mouse button.
Battery life is well suited for long gaming sessions as it can extend up to 24 hours of continuous use with lighting activated also when the mouse is attached to the attached dongle.
While this period can increase to 30 hours,
using Bluetooth, thanks to the built-in battery of 800 mAh
However, it is of course recommended that you use the mouse via RF 2.4 GHz instead of Bluetooth, because it is faster and responds more of course.
As we mentioned earlier,
wireless equipment suffers from this issue, so there is no need here to increase the delay or reduce the response rate, especially during gaming sessions.
ROG’s exclusive Switch design takes customization to a whole new level by enabling switches to switch easily
it comes included with the mouse in the box and this means that you have the option to install your favorite key
With this feature,
you can also replace disabled keys to extend the life of the mouse for longer periods, and the mouse uses Omron keys,
which have been estimated to 50 million clicks, as we know.
Software support and RGB lighting
The mouse contains RGB lighting and is fully compatible with Aura Sync,
which will enable you to fully customize the mouse using an infinite set of colors
and a set of dynamic lighting effects.
Thanks to including it in the Aura lighting system,
all the lights that support technology can also be synchronized with this mouse to make it more consistent
the lighting here was frustrating, not bad,
but we saw much better lighting in other products, even in ASUS products themselves.
Strangely, there is more beautiful than that in the Gladius series itself,
as I mentioned earlier in the wired version as the following pictures show.
The mouse does not need a definition or program in order to work,
it works directly as soon as you connect it to your computer,
but the mouse comes with distinct programming support also through Armory II
It is an enhanced peripheral driver-based utility that provides comprehensive controls
The intuitive user interface allows you to easily adjust the ROG Gladius II mouse
Fit to your gameplay including adjusting performance settings and buttons, customizing lighting effects and more.
Price, judgment and the final mouse
After I tried the wired version of this mouse earlier and unfortunately we were not able to provide a complete review for it due to the limited time
