Galaxy S20 FE has an impressive 120Hz display and excellent camera performance at a very reasonable price.
Fast Talk (Galaxy S20 FE)
The Galaxy S20 FE is a phone people are looking for, as it has many wonderful features and capabilities at a very reasonable price,
as the phone has a 120 Hz screen, 5G cameras and triple cameras with 30x Space Zoom for only $ 699,
and this is impressive as it is consider less than 300 dollars. Dollars than the regular Galaxy S20.
In addition to its superiority over its younger brother, the Galaxy S20, in many respects, not just the price, for example, the 32-megapixel front camera is more clear than the front camera in the Galaxy S20. You can also get the S20 FE in six very vivid colors.
The low price appears in the screen resolution, RAM, charger and plastic back, but it provides you with fast performance and great camera quality.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is priced at $ 699 with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.
The phone is being sold from retailers for $ 599.
- Large screen 120 Hz
- Available in six colors
- Powerful triple camera system

- reasonable price
- Express charger cost extra
- The visual imprint can be challenging
- Battery life is slightly shorter than expected
Galaxy S20 FE: Decent and Colorful Design
Flagship phones getting much better and also much more expensive, has made the overall landscape of phones.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes in a simply splendid selection of colours, the red, orange and mint versions are particularly dashing.
a series 7000 aluminium frame is sandwich between a gorilla glass3 display and a glastic arse and that is Samsung’s own term for a hybrid glass and plastic material.
it feels more like plastic than glass admittedly, but the matte finish does a reasonable job of hiding that smudgy badness.
and that glastic finish proved a lot more hardy than your bog standard plastic efforts. you’ve also got ip68 water and dust resistance, so no worries if the Galaxy S20 FE ends up in the drink.
Those bezels surrounding the screen do seem a little thick here as well after using other phones like the OnePlus 8t, it’s nothing offensive but it just detracts from the premium experience just like the glastic materials.
The main problem here was that palms kept intruding on the bottom corners whenever I was stretching to reach something especially when typing messages.
Galaxy S20 FE: OLED Display
The Galaxy S20 FE features a 120Hz display, which is consider one of the best features of the phone, as it provides you with a high definition quad-resolution, with a Full HD + screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels.
The 120Hz setting provides you smoother scrolling and better gameplay in an increasing range of titles that support 120Hz panels.
After just a few days if using itز
I really do like this balance, especially of a big flat 120 hertz OLED display, and plenty of high-end parts to pair with it.
If you think about it, a lot of Samsung’s other 120hz OLEDs are either curved over the edges or folding in half, so i have enjoyed this display for everything from everyday use, to gaming, to watching videos.
And of course with a high refresh rate it kept feeling fast with the Qualcomm chip that actually ships with the 5g version in every region.
Cameras : Pretty Impressive Picture
in terms of the camera, you do get a triple lens setup like those flagships, but it isn’t quite the same hardware.
The 12 megapixel prime lens has built-in ois and this captures impressive detail with every snap.
you don’t need a 64 or 108 megapixel lens to shoot good-looking photos.
colours are quite naturally grabbed as long as you knock off the ai mods, although i did find that the colour detail was lacking in some of my test shots with cooler visuals than seen in real life still Samsung galaxy S20 can generally cup just fine with sharp contrast.
The second lens is a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle, and while this produces slightly darker warmer pictures than the primary lens, it’s definitely handy for capturing a more dramatic photo or the whole of something that is flipping house.
as long as you use it outdoors because indoors it’s next to useless. and sure the Samsung galaxy S20 FE may only serve up an 8 megapixel telephone lens rather than the gigantic 64 megapixel effort of the standard S20.
but you still get three times optical zoom, and you’ve got that optical image stabilization bund in there too.
The total zoom maxes out at 30 times although things get gritty long before then but still up to around the sort of 10 times level you get a crisp picture, very handy for taking photos without intrusion on a scene.
In serious low light you can depend on Samsung’s night mode which captures and combines between 40 and 30 images at different exposures.
Results : Impressive Accuracy and Flexibility in shooting and videos
The results are brighter and more balanced with very respectable colour, reproduction too.
with the live focus mode you can make your photo all about your subject and this once again works splendidly. the accuracy really is impressive and you can change the blur effect afterwards if you’re not entirely satisfied.
The single take feature introduced on the original S20 phones is back in action too, if you can’t decide whether you want to do pictures or video. Speaking of video, Samsung phones usually do that pretty damn well and sure there’s no ak option here on the Samsung galaxy S20 FE.
you can still record up to 4k ultra HD resolution footage here at either 30 or 60 frames per second with full HDR support when required.
and the Samsung galaxy S20 FE does not disappoint serving up good looking video with dependable service image stabilization when you’re moving about.
you’ve got a lot of features to play around with including, of course that live focus mode which has improved over earlier incarnations, and it can swap between all three lenses on the fly for impressive flexibility when you need it.
you’ve got that proper pro mode as usual if you want to tweak the settings and enjoy the silky smooth slow zoom action. and last up for the camera tech, you’ve got that 32 megapixel selfie snapper which can offer quite a wide view if you wanna squeeze a few peeps in there.
and you’ve once again got those portrait mode smarts on board too, and it’s a solid effort although occasionally when I was shooting against a bright background, i ended up looking a bit soft.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE : Specs
with the Samsung galaxy S20 FE you’ve got a snapdragon 865 just about the highest end chip available short of the 865 plus.
There’s a nice big bright six and a half inch 120 hertz display, but it’s a 1080p panel and you can tell, it’s not their highest and it’s a flat display which i actually like.
and you’re also looking at a 4500 milliamp hour battery with wireless and reverse wireless charging.
triple cameras at 12 and 8 megapixels, a 32 megapixel selfie camera and their smallest punch cutout ever, and ip68 water resistant rating and a plastic back, so metal side rails and the whole rear is plastic in one of any of these six colours it comes in.
in terms of performance, the Galaxy S20 FE has a Snapdragon 865 processor and a half of 12 GB in the regular Galaxy S20 phone, and you can also get a storage capacity of 128 GB, as it is expandable up to 1 TB via a microSD card.
We found that the Galaxy S20 FE is very good in everyday use and is fully responsive, as I was switching between dozens of open apps, and we didn’t notice any lags at all.
We tested Geekbench 5, which measures overall performance, and the Galaxy S20 FE scored 2,928 in a multi-core test, which is less than the Galaxy S20, which scored 3,147. IPhone 11 has reached a score of 3251.
And when we converted the 4K video codec to 1080p after applying the effect and transition in Adobe Premiere Rush. The Galaxy S20 FE lasted about 1 minute 24 seconds, and it’s also 15:15 behind the regular S20.
Great Battery Life and Charging
As for the battery life of the Galaxy S20 FE, it will last most of your day on a charge, but not as long as we thought, as it is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery, which is larger than the 4000 mAh package in the Galaxy S20.
During testing we used the Galaxy S20 FE regularly for several hours, and the battery reached half in the middle of the day, which is very good.
When browsing the web, the Galaxy S20 FE lasted 8 hours 58 minutes, but that’s fine too.
As for charging, the Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 15-watt charger, which is significantly slower than the 25-watt charger that comes with the previous Galaxy S20 regular.
That the Galaxy S20 FE offers a large screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, in addition to powerful cameras and strong performance in a colorful design, you won’t be bothered by dealing with the plastic back and most of the other trade-offs, we just wished that Samsung included a more advanced ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. And the battery life is a little longer.
But in general it is considered a strong phone and it is full of powerful features in view of the price tag.
