The Washington Post Select-Amazon has announced that all Amazon Prime members can sign up for a free six-month Washington Post subscription.

Here’s how to activate it to start reading popular newspapers for free.

Amazon Prime already comes with some really good benefits.

For just $ 99 a year, Amazon Prime members get two days free shipping,

free access to the Amazon Prime Prime video service, free access to Amazon’s music streaming service,

free access to the Kindle Lending Library, unlimited photo storage with Amazon Cloud Drive,

And even early access to lightning shows.

The Washington Post Select that list

Add free access to The Washington Post Select that list, as Amazon announced today

that Amazon Prime members will get free, unlimited access to the Washington Post’s six-month digital edition,

which is valued at $ 60 when it is said and done.

Usually the digital edition to the newspaper is $ 10 a month to access,

but if you have Amazon Prime, you can get it for free for six months.

However, you can still access the digital add-on to get a discount after this free period expires, paying just $ 4 a month

for the service (saving $ 6 each month). Not a bad deal if you want to read the news on a daily basis.

How to get The Washington Post Select for free

Such a deal may seem a little strange, given that a large online retailer is collaborating with a newspaper,

but given that the Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos own the Washington Post,

we are not very surprised by this partnership.

Plus, it’s a good way to get users to look at newspapers again, even if it’s the digital version.

In any case, if you have Amazon Prime and want to get free access to the Washington Post,

just head to this link and click on the big yellow button that says Sign in with Amazon to start the free trial.

You will see a popup window log into Amazon.

It will automatically retrieve your payment details from your Amazon account

and use it to confirm your payment method when the free trial period

of six months ends. Simply click start my subscription to end everything.

From here, you only need to download The Washington Post Select app to your mobile device

or you can simply access the newspaper in a web browser on your computer.

When asked to sign in, simply use your Amazon email address and password.

The Washington Post has partial salaries, just like other newspapers.

Users can read ten stories for free each month,

and the Washington Post articles on search engines can be read for free as well.

However, with a subscription, you can get unlimited access to The Washington Post whenever and wherever.

Now,

when you download the mobile app

you get a free trial of one month (at least on iOS),

which is a great service and everything, but if you take advantage of the Amazon Prime free deal,

it will not get that one month ‘added to that The other six months, which is unfortunate, but it makes sense.

You should be aware that after the free six-month trial ends,

the Washington Post will automatically renew your subscription for $ 4 per month,

so it may be a good idea to set a calendar reminder six months in advance

so you can cancel the subscription if you want without the automatic renewal kicking you in the rear.

When you don’t expect it.

In any case,

even if you don’t read the newspaper daily, this elegant deal may prompt you to read more

when you are having morning coffee.

Even if you don’t care about politics, you can at least read the sports

and entertainment sections, as the Washington Post has all sorts of categories that cover it.
