The Vizio P-Series Quantum X TV (2021) comes with some improvements such as full local dimming and great contrast, it is one of the best LED-LCD TVs.

Vizio P-Series Quantum X: Fast Talk

The Vizio P-Series Quantum X (2020) TV is an impressive LED-LCD display that gives you QLED brightness and some of the best black levels in this aspect of OLED, and it provides you with roughly 2000 nits of brightness from peak brightness, and it brightens any Home cinema, it is considered one of the best televisions for bright living rooms.

The Vizio P-Series Quantum X (2020) is also great for Xbox Series X and PS5, and thanks to its automatic low latency mode, it will provide you with great responsiveness with a 13ms delay time with 4K / 60 games.

But certainly like any TV it has some flaws, which is that it may produce from extreme brightness some openness, and despite the addition of Apple TV Plus, Disney Plus and Peacock, it is still frustratingly slow at times.

But overall, the Vizio P-Series Quantum X TV can impress you thanks to its impressive features.

  • Ultra bright (2000+ lumens)
  • Improve contrast and color
  • Dolby Vision and HDR10 + support

  • Weak improvement and slight openness
  • SmartCast can be suspended
  • Dimmer sound quality

Vizio P-Series Quantum X: Pricing

The P-Series Quantum X TV (2021) comes in at $ 1,529 / $ 1999 / $ 3,099, and will be on sale in the better part of 2021 until models are announced next year.

More than the 65-inch P65QX-H1 is available at $ 1,529, the 75-inch P75QX-H1 is available at $ 1,999, and the 85-inch P85QX-H1 is priced at $ 3,099, but is more widely available in the market at $ 65. And 75.

Vizio P-Series Quantum X Design: Stable and Strong

The design of the P-Series Quantum X TV is unlike the ones in the market that rely on absolute thinness, as it is a TV that is not exactly thin due to the full range of local dim lighting, but it also features a stylish and simple front frame.

It has all-metal front legs on both sides of the screen, which makes the device relatively durable and stable.

Vizio P-Series Quantum X Design

The Vizio P-Series Quantum X isn’t exactly thin, it has a minimal volume and it’s not as thin as an OLED, or an illuminated LED-LCD.

But the real problem was not in the problem of size, except that there is no real cable management system,

unlike the Vizio OLED which has removable back panels to hide the wires, which leaves us with the problem that it may create a big mess if you use all four HDMI ports.

Vizio P-Series Quantum X ports

The Vizio P-Series Quantum X has four HDMI ports, two of which are full bandwidth HDMI 2.1, meaning it can keep pace with the Xbox Series X and PS5.

As for the remote, it’s not the best thing, and it doesn’t come with a built-in microphone. This makes searching for content a little more difficult than it needs to be.

Vizio P-Series Quantum X Features: Chromecast

The Vizio P-Series Quantum X TV has SmartCast, Vizio’s smart platform that combines Chromecast built-in with AirPlay and a content-rich interface that displays curated content.

It provides you with many applications that include Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Vudu, Apple TV, YouTube, YouTube TV, and Fandango, in addition to a few music-streaming applications such as Pandora and Tidal.

Vizio’s WatchFree app is also available which provides a little bit of content from various big-name networks like AMC and MTV.

Another great feature is that the SmartCast system is compatible with both Amazon Alexa smart speakers and Google Assistant, allowing you to easily control your favorite TV.

Unfortunately, we found that the SmartCast system does not respond like Tizen on Samsung Smart TVs or WebOS.

Overall, SmartCast is a better alternative to some 4K streaming media players, but we wouldn’t say it’s the best in its class.

Vizio P-Series Quantum X Audio: Clear with Mids and Highs

As for the sound on the Vizio P-Series Quantum X TV, there are two 15-watt amplifiers, which provide you with good sound quality with good mids and highs, thanks to the way the TV uses DTS Virtual: X.

But of course if you put it in a bigger room or ambient noise – you’ll start to have some issues with audio performance.

But one of the things that stands out about its audio performance is that the Vizio P-Series Quantum X supports Dolby Atmos via eARC, allowing you to connect to surround speakers to enhance the sound quality.

Performance: Impressive Picture Quality

In terms of picture quality, the P-Series Quantum X competes with the top performers in picture quality, as it delivers impressive brightness, with nearly 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and 90% coverage of Rec.

If you have a lot of ambient lighting in your living room, it will produce a wonderful picture for you by all standards, it contains enough light output so that it does not appear desaturated.

But we found during the tests that there is a problem with the Bright and Vivid settings, as it can deviate slightly from the red color, making the flesh tones look unnatural, and the amount of openness you see will depend on how bright you push the TV – the lower the brightness, The result is not the best thing.

But to solve this problem, you can use the built-in calibration and calibration modes in Quantum X, as the calibration mode preserves some of the device’s huge luminous output, and the latter cuts off brightness for better contrast.

The P-Series Quantum X TV also gives you a great workflow with 4K / HDR movies and TV shows, but it isn’t exactly the best at upgrading content from under 1080p.

But overall if you often watch 4K / HDR content or play games in 4K / HDR, the Quantum X display is a great screen, thanks to support for HDR formats (Dolby Vision and HDR10 +), the Vizio P-Series Quantum X is one of the best. Best TVs that can be paired with the PS5 or Xbox Series X.

The P-Series Quantum X is a very impressive TV, it has many great features, for example it has very cool brightness, and why your living room is so bright that you cannot enjoy the black levels.

The Vizio P-Series Quantum X TV supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10 + which is a huge boon.

It also has Dolby Atmos passthrough support that works great, but it is not the kind of built-in speakerphone that will dazzle you throughout the life of the TV.
